One thing that realy irks me about Linux is the immaturity and poor performance of Java. I need a machine that can run java at a reasonable pace, and when my Dual Processor XEON workstation with 8 gigs of ram runs java slower under linux than does my 1.4GHz Core Duo under windows or Mac OS, I have a problem. Does anyone know how flash performs under Linux? I have oft considered converting my animation workflow from Java to Flash.
